Third edition. The preface states that the lithographs 'having been fairly worn out' in the printing of the two previous editions, the plates in this edition 'are now superseded by four spirited and highly characteristic illustrations from 'the gifted pencil of [Joseph] Wolfe.'' The third edition is therefore considered the best.
