Ornithologiske Bidrag til Danmarks Fauna

Description:

Text Danish. Supplement to 'Skandinaviens Fugle'. A scarce contribution to nineteenth-century Danish ornithology, published as the first supplement to Niels Kjærbølling's Skandinaviens Fugle, the revised edition of his important Danmarks Fugle, edited by Collin between 1875 and 1877.

The work provides additional information on 102 species of birds, recording observations and contributing to contemporary knowledge of their occurrence and distribution in Denmark. An important historical source for the study of the Danish avifauna, particularly valuable for documenting nineteenth-century bird records.
