Description:
The reed-warbler family (Acrocephalidae) consists of ca 50 species of the genera Acrocephalus, Hippolais, and Iduna. Several of these are among the most thoroughly studied bird species in the world, principally because reed-warblers are extremely suitable subjects for field studies as their breeding densities are frequently very high. Therefore in the last 40 years numerous working groups have been created with the sole object of researching these warblers
