Wrappers. Vg. Inscription ‘From authors to A.H.H’ [Albert Harry Hamm (1861-1951)] to front wrapper. A letter to Hamm from Frederick Wallace Edwards (1888-1940), dated 17th August 1940, referring to this publication, loosely inserted. Hamm was a printer by trade, joining the Oxford University Museum in 1897 as an assistant lepdopterist and later became interested in Diptera and Hymenoptera.
