16 vols (bound in 17), 8vo, attractively bound in half morocco (some rubing/scuffing); marbled boards; some inner hinges strengthened. All volumes have been bound to a uniform width by addition of blank sheets at the rear of a few volumes.

Provenance: The editor's (Francis Hemming) set, with his book-plates and initials to spines. Some marginal corrections in Hemming's hand; a few typed slips inserted with his comments. Withdrawn from an institutional library with a few small neat ink stamps
