Description:

Scarce. Originally published as supplements to Entomologist's Record 72-80, and also issued in a collected edition of 75 copies with printed covers. A third volume was also published (Heterocera (Geometridae-Sesiidae) (1968-1981)), but is not present here.

Condition

2 vols (of 3), 8vo, Vol. 1 bound in cloth; Vol. II unbound quires in printed wrapper. Both volumes signed and numbered by the author (No. 3 & 4 respectively) to final page, with A.M. Morley's name to endpaper; Vol. II inscribed to Arther M. Morley by the author. Morley was author of List of Butterflies and Moths occurring in the neighbourhood of Folkestone (1931). Also with signature of the entomologist Michael Dickens, once owner of the Butterfly Farm in Bilsington, near Ashford Kent.
