8vo, recent half leather, new endpapers, spine with raised bands and gilt tooling. Colour to frontis slightly smudged. Occasional foxing. Book-plates of previous owners: Thomas Bell (British zoologist, 1792-1880), Alan G. Nicholson and Paul Sokoloff (1946-2012). Vg.
