4 vols, roy. 8vo, half roan, some rubbing/wear to leather; joints split in several places. Minor foxing to endpapers. Internally clean with bright coloured plates. Good. Provenance: Frances Partridge's copy, with her name to endpaper of first volume. Frances Catherine Partridge [née Marshall] (1900–2004), diarist, author, pacifist, member of the Bloomsbury set.
