Roy. 8vo, cont. half calf over pebbled cloth, red leather titlepiece to spine, edges speckled red. A very clean copy, with light foxing to the endpaper and only a few isolated spots elsewhere. Very good. Original owner's name to endpaper, 'Stanley Edwards, Blackheath, 1896'. Stanley Edwards (1864-1938) was an English entomologist, member and serving on the council of many scientific and natural history societies (Entomological Society of London, Zoological Society, Ray Society, South London Entomological Society, West Kent Natural History Society).
