Roy. 8vo (250x180mm), cont. full prize calf, decorative gilt tooled border to both boards, raised bands to spine, gilt tooling to compartments, leather title-piece, marbled edges and endpapers. Some wear to extremities, some rubbing to spine and joints, short splits to head/foot of joints. Gilt crest of Edinburgh Institution to front board and prize bookplate dated 1890.
