8vo, orig. cloth stamped in black and gilt, pictorial inlay to front board. Old light stain to fore-edges of boards; occasional light marginal foxing. Bookplate of Winton Maclure (1909-2000), birdwatcher and founding member of the Royal Naval Bird Watching Society.
