First edition, first impression. The Zoo Quest series of BBC nature documentaries (1954-1963) were the first to feature David Attenborough. Each expedition travelled to a particular tropical country to collect animals for London Zoo. Attenborough wrote a companion book for each series, and Madagascar was the fifth in the series.
Condition
Vg in d/w (minor chafing to extremities; in removable protective sleeve). Minimal foxing to edge of text block. Previous owner's name to endpaper, otherwise clean.
