Journal and Proceedings, Asiatic Society of Bengal (New Series), Vol. IX, No. 1: 17-88.The seven papers in this report 'are the result of five weeks' visit to Palestine and Syria in October and November, 1912. The object of the visit was, if possible, to trace the genera of sponges, coelenterates and polyzoa characteristic of the freshwaters of India and tropical Africa northwards up the Jordan Valley. […] Tiberius (also known as the Sea of Galilee) seemed the most convenient spot'. The report include articles on the compostion of the water of the lake; fishes, Batrachia and Reptiles; some noxious Diptera; Culicidae and Tipulidae; aquatic Oligochaeta; sponges.
