Text German. Nurmijärvi was a lake known for its bird life, in the Nurmijärvi municipality, Finland. This is a faunistic-biological study of the animal life found in the lake, particularly the Rotifera, Cladocera, Ostracoda and Copepoda. The lake was partially drained for farmland in the 1920s and fully dried up in the early 1950s.
