Also, from the library of English botanist, and pioneer ecologist, Arthur George Tansley (1871-1955), with his bookplate. Inscription to front wrapper, to Tansley from C. Schröter (1855-1939), Swiss botanist (to whom Baumann dedicates this book, 'Seinem verehrten Lehrer'). Schröter's inscription reads, 'To my dear friend A.G. Tansley in thankful remembrance of the Excursion through the British Isles 1/ix 1911 C. Schröter'.
