Text French. Albert I (1848-1922) was Prince of Monaco from 1889. He devoted much of his life to oceanography, and scientific exploration. This report is based on studies from his two research yachts Hirondelle, and Princesse Alice.

Condition

4to, plain paper covers, titles printed to glassine wrapper, damage to edges and spine of wrapper. Inscribed by the author to Pierre Revilliod (1883–1954), Swiss naturalist, and curator at the Natural History Museum of Geneva.
