After his work on the Symphyta (sawflies) of the Canton of Geneva, the author extended his study to the Jura mountains, bordering Switzerland and France, between the col de Crozet (France) and that of the Mollendruz (Vaudois), and its southern flank between Farges (France) and la Sarraz-Bussigny (Vaudois). This book is the result of intense field work, and a revision of the Jura specimens present in the collections of Symphyta in the Museum of Geneva and the Cantonal Museum of Zoology of Lausanne. Includes 261 species, 160 of which have been collected by the author since 1990.
