Description:
An account of all the orchids known known to occur wild in this most important island of Indonesia. Altogether 130 genera are listed, and a total of 731 species described. A key to the genera is provided, as well as keys to species level within each genus. Because most of the plants described have been seen in the forest, habitat notes are given, which may be useful to persons engaged in their cultivation.
Condition
Good in d/w (cockling to front face of d/w, due to damp), light water stain to top edge. From the library of Prof. A.J.E. Cave (1900-2001) with his name to endpaper.
