Reprint (first published by Victor Gollancz, 1930). A narrative of two journeys by this famous plant hunter and explorer, to Burma in 1926, and Assam in 1928, to collect seeds and plants from unknown mountainous regions. Frank Kingdon Ward (1885-1958) is responsible for introducing many plants to the West from southeast Asia.

8vo, orig. green buckram, gilt title to spine, top edge tinted green. Fine in d/w (in protective acetate cover).
