The Damselflies and Dragonflies of Iran: Odonata Persica

Description:

The first comprehensive work on damselflies and dragonflies in Iran. Between 2013 to 2018, the authors travelled 16 times to almost every Iranian province to investigate the indigenous dragonfly fauna. This resulted in a new species (Aeshna vercanica) and 11 other species recorded in Iran for the first time. In total 103 species are illustrated, together with distribution maps and information on biometric data, identification, habitat and taxonomy.
