Edward Bagnall Poulton (1856-1943) was a British evolutionary biologist who was an admirer of Darwin and an advocate of natural selection through a period in which many scientists doubted its importance.

8vo, orig. cloth, gt, teg; spine slightly faded. Endpapers foxed; blind 'presentation copy' stamp to title. A very good copy.
