Description:

Scarce complete set of 18 reports on the Cambridge Expedition to the East African Lakes 1930-1931. This expedition was a major scientific survey organised by the University of Cambridge, led by E.B. Worthington. Its goals were to study the biology, ecology, limnology and geology of less-studied Rift Valley lakes in Kenya and Uganda, particularly Lakes Rudolf (now Turkana), Baringo, Edward, Naivasha, and Bunyoni. The results were published in these 18 reports in Journal of the Linnean Society, Zoological series, Vol. 38, 39 and 40.
