Text Spanish. Annelida Polychaeta VII continues coverage of the Polychaetes of the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands. This volume includes a study of the families Onuphidae, Eunicidae, Apistobranchidae, Spionidae, Trochochaetidae, Poecilochaetidae, Longosomatidae and Sternaspidae. An in-depth taxonomic and bibliographic review is presented, including a general introduction to the main anatomical, taxonomic, and systematic aspects of each family, as well as keys for the identification of genera and species. For each of the 124 species a description is provided with illustrations of diagnostic morphological characters, as well as information on their biology and distribution.

There were five previous volumes on Polychaetes of the Fauna Ibérica series: Volume 21 (San Martín, 2003), 25 (Viéitez et al . , 2004), 36 (Parapar et al., 2012), 41 (Parapar et al. , 2015), 45 (Parapar et al. , 2019) and 47 (Cepeda et al. , 2022); this new volume represents a substantial advance in the study of the orders Eunicida, Spionida and Terebellida.
