There are short abstracts in English for every species with most important information, so it is extremely valuable even for people who does not know Swedish at all (like me), but if you know it - better for you. A graphic design in this book is absolutely outstanding. I literally fell in love with it almost immediately. Every species is illustrated by beautiful drawing which is very helpful in identification of moths. Also every species has attached very precise drawing of male and female genitalia which is an invaluable value for people who seriously want to work in entomology. The other great thing about this book are drawings of mining by caterpillars in feeding plants. It gives plenty of useful information to reader, especially when trying to find mines in natural habitat. Other positives about it are:
- Keys to every family which is described in the book
- Gallery of enlarged drawings of moths in the end of the book
- A comparison of mines from a given plant species in the end of the book
To summarise, it is worth its price and if it would be necessary I wouldn't hesitate to pay even more. As a Polish person I can not be satisfied with main language, but it is not that big problem to resign from buying this wonderful book. And it is the first and last problem about it.
